Abstract
Mr. Hal Koontz, a Los Angeles area
attorney fo rmerly with the Appellate
Department of the Superior Court, has
been named to head the A.F.A. Exotic
Bird Retrieval Program.
Mr. Koontz will lend his administra
tive skills to the organization and
management of the Statewide effort to
recaptu re escaped Indian Ringneck Parakeets,
Nanday Conures, and CanaryWinged
Bee Bees, all three of which will
become prohibited species subject to
confiscation, if the program is unsuccessful.
