Abstract
A great many birds on the market
today come into our country through
quarantine stations. We're fortunate to
get the birds and should do all we can to
keep them alive. The highest death rate
occurs during the first part of quarantine
and during the first two weeks after the
birds are released from quarantine. There
are a few general rules that apply to most
of the birds that come through the station,
that is, canaries, finches, and parrots.
