Abstract
A capacity crowd of over 300 members wax present at the A.F.A. EAST-MINlCONYENTION giving it all the aspects of a national rather than a regional assembly.
Once again. members gathered from all parts of the country to join in the excitement of meeting and talking about birds.
Not only did A.F.A EAST rival a national convention in the numbers anending , but it, programs. the entertainment and exhibit, were in a scale and of a quality that one usuall , expects to ;.ee only at the national lcve l. All this wa, the result of careful planning and a lot of hard work on the part of the committee that made the succcs-, possible.
Attending these regional events irnprcs;.c;. one with the National strength of our Federation. The turnout in Washington. D.C.. in particular. demonstrates the stronghold which is ours in the East •
