Abstract
The topics of sanitation and disinfection tend to be rather unstimulating subjects which are rarely brought up in conversation among aviculturists. They are the ugly twins generally left in the back closet and only brought out during problem times when attention is severely in need and more frequently done behind closed doors.Recently, I have taken to addressing a few points about specific antiseptics and disinfectants in my presentations to various avicultural groups and the resulting response has been very strong.
