Abstract
The U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service
has determined
that all but 59
of the 8650 species
of birds of the
world are injurious
to public
health and safety,
agriculture, horticulture,
forestry,
and wildlife. Final
regulations prohibiting
importation
of these injurious
animals will appear in the Federal
Register in June 197 5, taking effect six
months thereafter.
