Abstract
We are honored to award the fol lowing
persons and institutions for their
accomplishments in the field ofaviculture.
One of the greatest pleasures was
the presentation of the Silver Avy
awards for long term continuous work
with a chosen species , and the Avy
Appreciation awards for outstanding
service to an organization. These
awards are earned by no accident of
good luck ; it takes long term dedication
and respect by one's peers. This year's
awards were presented at the Seattle
convention Saturday evening banquet,
August 15th , 1987. The winners are:
