Abstract
The popularity
of Cacti and Succulents
has increased
at such a
rate that it is difficult
for me not to
write an article on
the species, cactus,
in this issue
and an article on
succulents in a following
issue. I was lucky enough
two years ago to
buy my home here
in Vista (the cactus growers capital), and
it just happened to be an old Cactus
Nursery. Although the majority of the
cactus had been sold, several very large
specimens were left (some of which are
pictured in this article).
